Abstract
The consideration of a proposed change to the 1993 BOCA National Building Code was up for discussion at the BOCA-ES Technical Advisory Committee's lastest meeting. The code change would entail more stringent testing requirements for attic and rafter ventilation, new language on net-free ventilation, elimination of the current vapor barrier exception, and a change in the distribution of ventilation openings. A few quesetions still need to be answered before the TAC can proceed.
