Abstract
Roofing contractors have practiced their profession for years with only passing concern over the fact that approximately 25% of existing built up roofs (63% of flashings) contain asbestos. The time has come for the roofing industry to belly up to the asbestos bar to recognize and deal with its presence as a business fact of life. This articles discusses some of the regulations of dealing with asbestos.
