Abstract
The issue of using OSB vs. plywood for sheathing for tile roof applications appear to be back in the roofing community spotlight. While the majority of US codes allow for the use of OSB as an approved alternative to plywood, Florida is unique on two major points that currently preclulde OSB from being allowed as a generally accepted alternative.
