Abstract
It can take only one to three years for a new roof in Florida to develop black streaks. That can mean a lot of angry callbacks in just a short time, or at least businesses negatively affected by word of mouth among homeowners. The following article clarifies the problem and solution, and qualifies the general integrity of algae resistant shingles on the market.
