Rosemont, Ill.—Roofing professionals are invited to join industry trade associations representing contractors, consultants and manufacturers in the U.S. and Canada in taking part in a new Quarterly Market Index Survey for Reroofing.
The purpose of the survey is to take the pulse of the reroofing industry on a quarterly basis and become a regular barometer of the industry’s business conditions. Industry professionals have an opportunity to share their thoughts and experiences regarding reroofing as a sector of their businesses.
The survey is an industry-wide effort to collect information about the reroofing market spearheaded by a coalition of trade associations, including the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association, Canadian Roofing Contractors Association, Chemical Fabrics & Film Association Inc., EPDM Roofing Association, International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants, National Roofing Contractors Association, National Women in Roofing, Polyisocyanurate Insulation Manufacturers Association, Roof Coatings Manufacturers Association and Single Ply Roofing Industry.
“2020 brought a year of unprecedented volatility and disruption, and the roofing industry was not exempt from the effects of COVID-19 and its impact on the economy,” says Reid Ribble, NRCA’s CEO. “But roofing contractors are resilient and overall had a strong year. Material supply has been a challenge for some segments of the industry. As such, NRCA and other industry partners are launching a new market survey for reroofing. The quarterly survey results will be shared with industry manufacturers and distributors, as well as participating contractors. I hope every contractor in the U.S. participates in this 15-minute survey. Your company will ultimately be the beneficiary.”
The first Quarterly Market Index Survey for Reroofing is available at bit.ly/roofindexsurvey. Survey responses may be submitted through Jan. 22.
