TRUFAST,® Bryan, Ohio, has joined the Roofing Alliance at the Regent level.
Founded in 1981 in Bryan, TRUFAST Corp. began manufacturing and distributing unique fastening solutions for the commercial roofing industry. As its product offering grew to include other engineered fastening solutions and accessories, the TRUFAST brand developed a reputation for high-quality products and outstanding customer service. In 2005, TRUFAST was acquired by Altenloh, Brinck & Co. U.S. Inc. and remains a strong brand in the ABC U.S. organization.
The Roofing Alliance was established within the National Roofing Foundation in 1996 to create an endowment fund to serve as a resource for the roofing industry and its customers.
Since its inception, Roofing Alliance members have committed more than $13.3 million to fund research, educational and technical projects such as educational partnerships with some of the country’s top construction management schools to expose college students to roofing as a career choice; sponsorship of a national construction management student design competition; national survey of roofing workers; and helping to develop NRCA ProCertification,™ a nationally recognized worker training program that will include 30 training disciplines and a series of certifications participants can earn to develop a career path. The Roofing Alliance also supports philanthropic outreach, including its partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities© to maintain the roofs of the 165 standalone Ronald McDonald Houses in the U.S.
