What is the most important lesson you learned this year?
The benefits of comradery and connection. Watching the industry resume widespread in-person events during the past year, I’ve seen firsthand the benefits and joy the industry has gained by being able to come together again. Just today, a contractor told me, “My best friends are in this industry, and I met them through NRCA.” Watching friends, colleagues and the industry reconnect has been impactful.
What is one good thing you see for the roofing industry in 2023?
The roofing industry comprises individuals who are incredibly resilient and resourceful, and with that strong foundation, our industry is well-equipped to navigate the possible economic headwinds in 2023. To steal and modify a famous quote: Clear eyes, roofers’ hearts, can’t lose.
