NRCA recently sent a letter to the Biden administration to explain the immediate need for a comprehensive federal approach to address devastating supply chain shortages of materials that began during the COVID-19 pandemic and have been greatly exacerbated by natural disasters—most recently Hurricane Ida.
The letter addresses the unprecedented severity of the supply chain issues and requests immediate federal assistance with increasing the speed and capacity at U.S. ports, a fast restart of production located in disaster areas and other assistance that may be identified during the coming days or weeks.
