Itasca, Ill.— NRCA has announced it has endorsed Mike Rogers for the United States Senate in Michigan, recognizing his commitment to policies that will strengthen small businesses, expand opportunities in the skilled trades, and create a favorable business environment in Michigan.
For roofing contractors in Michigan and around the country, several policy issues are particularly important, including meaningful immigration reform, increased investments in skilled trades education and training, pro-growth tax rates and other policies that create a strong business environment for entrepreneurs.
“NRCA members face very real challenges at this time,” said Duane Musser, NRCA’s vice president of government relations. “Our industry needs a reliable workforce through greater investment in trade education and immigration reform, maintaining tax rates that enable businesses to grow, and a regulatory environment that encourages investment and job creation. Mike Rogers understands these challenges and has demonstrated a commitment to policies that can help address them.”
NRCA’s endorsement reflects the association’s commitment to electing leaders who understand the importance of small businesses and skilled trades to Michigan’s economy.
