The ability to assess and improve skills on an ongoing basis is one way excellent companies increase safety and their bottom lines.
Employees who have access to trainers and training as needed will integrate better into their companies, develop their skills more efficiently and gain more company loyalty than those who must figure things out on a trial-and-error basis.
NRCA offers the following two upcoming courses aimed at helping your company develop existing employees into trainers.
- March 13-14: The Qualified Trainer Conference will enhance overall training skills focusing on, but not limited to, installation training. New trainers will gain a strong foundation of critical training skills, and seasoned trainers will learn new training methods and advance their knowledge of industry best practices. Early bird prices are available through Feb. 28.
- March 26-27: The Fall Protection Trainer Course for Roofing will prepare attendees to teach fall protection regularly and with new resources. The course will provide a detailed understanding of the role and responsibilities of the competent person for fall protection; how to apply fall-protection knowledge as a competent person to prevent falls on job sites; and how to use turnkey training materials to train roofing workers in fall-protection and prevention requirements.
