The International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants is accepting abstracts for the 2020 International Conference on Building Envelope Systems and Technologies Aug. 31-Sept. 2, 2020, in Vancouver.
IIBEC is partnering with The National Research Council of Canada to host the conference, which provides a worldwide forum for the exchange of information and discussion of recent developments in and applications of building envelope engineering. It will bring together engineers, architects, scientists and practitioners with a common interest to promote new knowledge and practice of building envelope systems and technologies.
IIBEC is seeking abstracts spanning a variety of topics, including roofing; cladding; sealants and coatings; and construction processes, contract administration and case studies, among other topics.
Abstracts of each paper should be 200 words and received by Nov. 8. Authors will be notified regarding acceptance of abstracts by Dec. 13-17. If accepted, final papers are due to IIBEC March 13, 2020.
