FirstService Corporation, Toronto, has announced it has acquired Roofing Corp of America, Atlanta, one of the largest commercial roofing enterprises in North America. The addition reportedly will add to FirstService’s capabilities regarding property repair, maintenance and restoration.
Roofing Corp of America delivers a wide range of roofing services—including reroofing, repair and maintenance, and new roof system installations—to building owners, property and facility managers, homeowners associations and general contractors. The company operates from 16 regional branch locations across 11 U.S. states and employs more than 900 professionals. Roofing Corp of America generates annual revenues of about $400 million.
FirstService will acquire a significant controlling interest for a purchase price of $413 million, and Roofing Corp of America’s senior leadership team will retain the balance of the equity and continue to operate the business going forward.
