CPWR—The Center for Construction Research and Training will hold a webinar, An Overview of OSHA’s On-Site Consultation Program and Compliance Assistance Resources, Nov. 18 at 1:30 p.m. EST.
Small- and medium-sized businesses, which often have fewer resources to devote to safety and health and employ at-risk workers at high rates, can access free and confidential occupational safety and health services through the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s On-Site Consultation Program, with priority given to high-hazard worksites. These services are separate from enforcement, and their use does not result in penalties.
During the webinar, CPWR and OSHA will give a brief presentation followed by a Q&A to help participants learn more about the program and how it can help employers identify workplace hazards, comply with OSHA standards, and establish or improve workplace safety and health programs.
