Mental health is a growing concern in the construction industry. A 2020 report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows suicide among the U.S. working-age population is increasing, and construction and extraction occupations have the highest rates of death by suicide in any occupational group. The first step in addressing the issue is talking about it.
During the webinar, learn more about the effects of suicide; signs and symptoms to be aware of; contributing factors, such as high rates of opioid use disorder; and available suicide prevention resources.
