With COVID-19 continuing to spread, it is important to remember a multilayered approach to exposure control on construction job sites is key. Although vaccinations are important and effective at preventing COVID, especially severe illness and death, employers should not forget about other safety measures, such as requiring employees and visitors to wear masks, improving ventilation, and allowing time off for isolating or quarantining when necessary.
During the 30-minute webinar, Dr. Doug Trout, medical officer at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health’s Office of Construction Safety and Health, will review key protections and answer questions about reducing COVID exposure on construction sites.
