A group of construction industry leaders will celebrate Construction Inclusion Week Oct. 12-16 to promote raising awareness of opportunities in the industry, opening pathways to careers in the industry and fostering a workplace where everyone can thrive.
This year’s theme is Opening Doors, Building a Workplace for Everyone. The week focuses on expanding opportunity by investing in outreach and hiring initiatives that showcase the rewarding careers available in construction; empowering growth by opening doors through hands-on learning such as internships, apprenticeships and mentorships; and cultivating belonging by building workplaces where everyone feels valued, respected and supported. Resources include school resources, toolbox talks and a mental health resource directory.
