Beacon Roofing Supply Inc., Herndon, Va., is holding its annual Beacon of Hope contest, through which the company awards veteran homeowners or organizations new roofs.
Ten winners will be selected, and Beacon Roofing Supply—with local companies—will deliver and facilitate roof repairs or replacements for veteran contest winners at no cost to the recipients.
Through Oct. 6, the public can nominate a veteran by visiting the Beacon of Hope website. Nominations must include a photo of the veteran, three photos of the home and why the nominee deserves a new roof.
Winners will be announced Nov. 10.
