Richard (Rich) Trewyn joined NRCA in 2015. Before coming to NRCA, he was the national safety director for TECTA and started his career at FJA Christiansen Roofing Companies in Milwaukee in 1996. With a degree in occupational safety and health from the University of Wisconsin—Whitewater and numerous certificates and certifications within the safety field, Trewyn brings a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise to NRCA. He is an Occupational Safety and Health Administration-authorized trainer for the construction 10- and 30-hour classes and an authorized CERTA trainer of torch-applied system classes. He also teaches NRCA’s fall-protection and CERTA Train-the- trainer classes.
