Cheryl is NRCA's vice president of enterprise risk management. She joined NRCA in 2021. Cheryl has 25 years of experience as a construction safety and health professional. She is an authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer for Construction for the agency’s 10- and 30-hour training. Cheryl holds a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University where she graduated magna cum laude. She also has an associate’s degree in business management.
Richard Trewyn
NRCA's director of
risk education and training
Rich joined NRCA in 2015. Prior to joining NRCA, he was the national safety director for TECTA, and he started his career at FJA Christiansen Roofing Companies in Milwaukee in 1996. With a degree in occupational safety and health from the University of Wisconsin—Whitewater and his numerous certificates and certifications within the safety field, he brings a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise to NRCA. He is an authorized trainer for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA's) 10- and 30-hour construction safety classes and an authorized Certified Roofing Torch Applicator (CERTA) trainer of torch-applied system classes. He also teaches NRCA's fall-protection and CERTA train-the-trainer classes.
Adrianne Anglin, CSP
NRCA’s director
of safety and risk management
Adrianne Anglin joined NRCA as its director of safety and risk management in October 2024. She is an active member of the American Society of Safety Professionals, the National Association of Women in Construction and the Board of Certified Safety Professionals and helped launch the Women of the Michigan Aggregate Association subgroup in 2023. Since joining NRCA, she has helped to spearhead initiatives such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s heat rulemaking and fleet safety initiatives. A seasoned risk and safety manager with a strong focus on delivering custom solutions for the workplace, she has worked in the safety arena for more than 20 years. In 2021, Anglin was nominated for and voted as one of the Top Women in Safety 2021 by American Occupational Safety.
