Description

Across the board, roofing industry foremen are excellent managers. But when one’s job involves leading a team, a truly effective performance includes a great deal of leadership. Strong leadership allows foremen to communicate clearly, assign tasks efficiently and address issues quickly, which are significant factors in keeping projects on schedule. Additionally, good leadership fosters a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and reducing turnover by showing respect for each crew member’s contributions.

During the webinar, Amy Staska, vice president of NRCA University, will discuss:

  • The difference between management and leadership and when to emphasize each
  • The value a company can expect to see from foremen with good leadership skills
  • Next steps for developing leadership skills

After this webinar, participants will be able to differentiate between leadership and management and determine how to elevate their foremen’s performance.
