Education

Throughout the year, NRCA hosts several educational programs, seminars and meetings, the largest of which is the annual convention and exhibit. During these events, roofing contractors and other industry professionals gather to share ideas and learn more about the industry.

NRCA's Meetings and Convention Section organizes NRCA's Midyear Meetings, Fall Committee Meetings and Legislative Conference, Executive Committee meetings, technical conferences and international study tours.

NRCA offers educational programs for all types of roofing company employees—from office employees to project foremen. NRCA's Risk Management and Education Section creates and executes these programs. A committee consisting of NRCA officers and directors helps the education department design programs. NRCA staff members also work with the Roofing Industry Educational Institute (RIEI) to create education and training programs as part of the new relationship RIEI and NRCA share.

In addition, the education department is responsible for the NRCA Roof Application Training Program, a training program for entry-level roofing workers.
